Getting Around

Once you get to the city, its easy to get around. The Matild Hotel is about 30 minutes away by taxi or other ride. I always have taken a taxi and they are simple and inexpensive BUT always schedule in advance if you can although there are plenty of taxis there. Once you’re in the city most items are within walking distance. The TCW Office, downtown, shopping, hero’s square, the castle, parliament etc. BUT the one time we needed a taxi when it was pouring rain, it was TOUGH to get a taxi. Not sure why but hospitality has tons of English speakers but call the taxis and its another world or they thought, “dude just walk the hotel is like a mile away”, LOL. Take that into consideration. The do have a subway, but i haven’t used it but seems like a very common form of transport for most people.
